I’m coming up on the end of my first work period. While I think some of this was getting back up to speed I did get the basic rules that keep the Playerr conversationally shepherded during the tutorial.

Basically there’s a Default Response that is given when trying to talk about other topics than the important one; a Node-Continuation response that nags the Playerr if they haven’t commanded Ada to take a conversational action on a random basis; and a Node-Termination response for if the Playerr commands Ada to leave the room or SAY GOODBYE.

It’s a lot of basic stuff to write, and I suspect that very few Playerrs will actually rebel in this case to see them, but there are certain Playerrs who will be gremlins, so that’s why I write them.

I have also written the Rule for when the Playerr is cooperative and ASKs for the TUTORIAL, as well as extended my test to hit it, but I haven’t pulled it over from my Scrivener yet.
