I did therapy and then ate some dinner and by that time my tests had finished and I was able to verify that everything looked right now, as well as fixing one more place where the RNG pulls had happened. Believe it or not, though, I’m running the tests one last time…

See, the issue is that when I fixed that last thing, I had to regenerate the skein and my code to do that has issues with what I’ve been calling “artifacts”, where my skein generation code makes a simple assumption about if transcripts have a greater-than sign at the end, as well as what happens when trying to write Playerr feedback when the game expects a particular answer. So I need to re-run the tests to catch those.

But additionally, I took one more trek through all my files for spelling errors I had missed when my spell check extension had a bug and couldn’t refer to my workspace dictionary. I turned it off instead of trying to figure it out because I want to be careful about adding words such as “skunktaur” to my user dictionary. Plus, I incremented the version numbers for the files I changed.

For all of that, one more run, though for this run I’m probably going to be playing some FFXIV, and may or may not be back to talk about the results today. But regardless, this was great progress and I think tomorrow or later tonight I can finally check in this new node and move to some other TODOs I have to fix.
