Came back from my break, nap, and eating some dinner to make one more adaptive text fix, but that’s going to do it for me tonight because I want to take a shower before I head over to hang out with a friend. Just for some content, let me describe what was fixed below the fold…

One of the things that Glitch can talk about is Glitch as a being, and in one of the instances of that, Glitch describes the ability to create friends in Glitch Space, teasing Ada meeting the roommates Glitch has created for the tutorial. This was fine when it wasn’t actually possible to meet any of the roommates, but now that I have actually added one of these roommates (Taffany), and made it very possible that Glitch actually sees Ada meet one, it makes sense for Glitch to appropriately reference the meeting.

Of course, Ada may or may not remember the meeting since her memory resets with the timeline, and she may end up meeting the roommate on her own without Glitch, so that also had to be accounted for. I’ve basically had to account for five different branches:

And of course, the fun thing is that Taffany is not the last roommate I’m going to add to the game so I’ll eventually have to update this to account for other roommates. (As well as actually fix Ada remembering the earlier parts of the conversation in this case, because right now she does not, but I’ve decided to not fix it until a later release.)

As I’ve been saying, this is what I get for making a reality editing/time travel game.

Regardless, time to chill! I’m still very happy to have made good progress on getting through these small tasks, and I’m especially excited to get to write some of these responses I haven’t written yet, eventually. :3
