Allow me to make an exception to my normal rule about not making these comments on real-life.
I read yesterday about the idea that when Martin Luther King, Jr. talked about having his dream, that perhaps it really was a dream given to him at night to see the future. A gift passed from the ancestors to strive forward to a better day for someone one day, even when things look at their bleakest. But at the same time, also a dream in its figurative sense of being a hope.
I too, have this hope, and I did have a bit of a dream reigniting that hope a few days ago. It made me cry when I woke up, but I feel emboldened by it as a vision I hope to see one day.
I also have a hope to finish my game, so let’s focus on that first…
I didn’t make as much progress on scaffolding as I had hoped, but I think the bug I investigated yesterday explains why, mostly. Honestly, I think my expectation for knocking the scaffolding for these out quickly is quickly evaporating as I come into contact with it. But that’s because that bug actually immediately came to bear on the next Response I was going to scaffold, Glitch’s Response on Taffany.
The bug yesterday was that the Annoying Skunktaur Puppet was not known
to Ada so she was unable to ask about it.
The same goes for Taffany I immediately realized. This also applies for any Thing I don’t explicitly declare as being
either seen
or familiar
by default (except for the Subjects concerning abstract topics, which are familiar
by
default).
I think once I handle Taffany here, though the rest are Subjects so that should go a lot quicker.
Either way, that’s enough jibber-jabber.
